Who is responsible

Hosting and server logs
The site runs on a server in the EU rented from Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany). Like any web server, it logs each request: IP address, time, requested page, referrer and browser (user agent). The logs are needed to operate and secure the site and are deleted after 14 days.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare, Inc. delivers the site and protects it against attacks, so your request, including your IP address, passes through Cloudflare’s network. Cloudflare may process data in the USA and is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Visitor statistics
I count visits with Plausible Analytics, which runs on my own server. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Your IP address and user agent are only used to compute an anonymous identifier that changes daily, and are never stored. What remains are aggregate numbers: pages viewed, referrers, country, device type, and clicks on outgoing links. Nothing is shared with third parties.

Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: my legitimate interest in running a secure website and understanding how it is used.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
